La Cala de Mijas
Centered between Fuengirola and Marbella, only 25 minutes from Malaga airport, La Cala de Mijas has been adopted by many different nationalities as the 'perfect' suburban town.
Originally a fishing village, La Cala has grown into a quaint little town. With a unique mix of traditional Spanish and modern construction, pedestrian walkways, cafes and restaurants, La Cala carries an atmosphere of a very relaxed way of life.
The town as a whole is well cared for by the local council which maintains clean streets and beaches at all times.
Sports enthusiasts will welcome the plethora of sports factilities which include several gymnasiums, three significant golf courses and two tennis clubs.
Medical services are provided by a local GP clinic and for more urgent issues the Costa del Sol Hospital is only 15 minutes away.
Torrenueva - Mijas Costa
Torrenueva is a relatively small urbanisation nestled between Miraflores and La Cala de Mijas.
Properties within consist of just about every type from detached villas to studio apartments although there is a higher proportion of villas.
A large and extensive resort consisting of in excess of 1200 garden apartments and townhouses within various 'phases' and extends from the coast road.
Facilities - Miraflores boasts it's own bowls club and also its golf course.
Riviera del Sol
Situated on the coast directly adjacent to the coast road between Miraflores and Calahonda. Local facilities include 24hr shop (OpenCor), small shopping centre with supermarket and a few independent shops (including a Newsagent).
Calahonda, again situated adjacent to the coast road, is a bustling community and is within a few kilometres of the Cabopino Marina.
